Here at the MINT Museum of Toys, we believe in the power of toys to allow people of all ages to get a glimpse into a long-gone past and learn valuable lessons relevant to the present. To honour the spirit of play and fun that these toys embody, our learning journeys for students in Singapore incorporate experiential learning activities to stay engaging and fun.
These activities are designed to be age-appropriate and come in a variety of forms so that children can dive into the deeper meanings of our toys. Preschoolers can look forward to sensory activities such as arts and crafts to keep their young minds engrossed throughout the programme, whereas older primary and secondary students can get a closer look at our collections through on-site excursions to our museum.

Pre-School Learners
Aesthetics involves the love and pursuit of beauty as found in art, music and movement. It creates opportunities for the creative expression of emotions and ideas.
In this Learning Journey at MINT Museum of Toys, we have included learning points of art, music and movement in each of our 4 trails – Outerspace, Characters, Childhood Favourites & Collectables — to foster the holistic development of pre-school children, including the cognitive, physical, social-emotional and creative domains.
Each trail provides a range of stimuli, ideas and opportunities for children to colour, express and move! These experiences help promote children’s imagination and creativity.
Primary School Learners
Primary learning at MINT Museum of Toys highlights key components of student development, suitable for children aged 7 – 12 years, including Knowledge Skills. Students will get to experience a new approach to exploring subject areas such as Art and Science. Our hands-on experiential learning journey programme will instill core values, develop critical thinking and communication skills.
Secondary School Learners
Google, Siri, Bixby, and Alexa! Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok! These are the epitome of technological advancements and globalisation in our economic progression today. However, these advancements have also led to concerning change in our demographics. In a society where everything is rapidly progressing, how do we ensure steady economic progression while combatting the cultural challenges in Singapore?
In this learning journey for secondary students, learners will embark on an immersive Amazing Race-style tour, taking on challenges full of experiential activities in order to learn about technology and artificial intelligence through our toys.
